Especially as in my case I am not an adventurer by choice but by fate and feeling nowhere so much myself a stranger as in my family and country. - Vincent Van Gogh

-FAQ

-Are you “Abigail Seaver” from the Bruins Live Blog?

Yes, I interned for the Bruins from 2010-2011 in the Web Communication department under a wonderful staff.

-Are you a “youtuber”?

I have a youtube account and follow many people there but I usually only use it to upload large file videos - all tagged at the end with my tumblr account. I love following vloggers on youtube, I just choose to import my videos on a different site.

-How many places have you lived?

I grew up in a small town in Connecticut and once I graduated I went to Uni at Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in Doylestown, PA. After landing a communication internship in the House of Representatives in Washington, DC I moved to U Street for the summer and fell in love with the city. I transfered to American University and moved to Embassy Row. Then I decided to take a year off from school and landed another communication internship with the Boston Bruins NHL team and moved to Boston. After that I decided to stay in New England and chose to attend UCONN and moved to a small town near the school. I have also spent good chunks of time in Albuquerque, NM. I moved to Europe (Paris, France) for a year and am working my way to get back. So for now, New England’s where it’s at.

-Why have you moved around so much?

I don’t like staying in the same place very often… I truly am a nomad! I like to take opportunities that are presented to me and do the best I can to make them a possibility. I like to call it my one-year tolerance. I can’t be in the same place that long.

-What do you like better, vlogging or blogging?

I like vlogging much more… I just love to talk!

-What type of cat do you have/who is taking care of him while you are in France?

He is a rescue from Washington, D.C. but it is pretty confirmed he is a pure white Turkish Angora.

- Are you bilingual?

No, but I am hoping living in France for a year will help me become fluent in French.

Do you have any siblings?

Yes, I have a 30 year old brother with Downs Syndrome named Justin. He passed away January 12th, 2013 unexpectedly and I miss him every second.
